From leading the Dartford Lions Club to supporting local food banks, community service has been at the heart of everything I do for over 30 years.
Lions Clubs International
Dartford Lions Club
Joining the Dartford Lions Club in 2014, I was elected as the 52nd President and was proud to be re-elected for a second term. I now serve as District Officer for Lions Clubs International District 105SE.
I led a dedicated team of 25+ volunteers, spearheaded fundraising initiatives raising thousands of pounds annually for local and international charities, and modernised the club’s digital presence to reach more people.
Vision Scanner Project
Currently spearheading a project screening school pupils to detect treatable eye abnormalities early, protecting children’s eyesight across the region.
Spectacle Recycling
Organising the collection and shipment of unwanted spectacles to Lions HQ in Birmingham, for distribution to people in developing countries.
Community Fundraising
Led initiatives raising thousands of pounds annually for local and international charities, promoting the values of Lionism and community service.
Supporting Those in Need
Food Bank Support
I recognise that some members of our community depend on food banks to put meals on the table. I have been actively involved in supporting the Albion Road Food Bank, delivering crates of essential supplies and working to raise awareness of this vital service across Bexleyheath.
Looking after one another is what makes our community strong. No family in Bexleyheath should go hungry.

110+ Events
Personally attended over 110 events as Deputy Mayor, from citizenship ceremonies to school award presentations.
Citizenship Ceremonies
Had the honour of presenting citizenship ceremony certificates, welcoming new members into our community.
School Awards
Attended school competitions and award ceremonies across the borough, celebrating the achievements of young people.
